Frequently Asked Questions
Why Blue Solar Water?
Using a Blue Glass Bottle is a simple and cheap way of applying colour to the body. Water, when exposed to sunlight in a Blue Glass Bottle for at least an hour becomes irradiated and takes on some of the vibrational energy of that particular colour. This is called SOLARIZED WATER. The longer the water remains exposed to the sun, the stronger is its potency. Simply drink this water at regular intervals throughout the day.
Why the colour Blue?
Blue is the purest, coolest and deepest colour of the spectrum and stands for rest, relaxation, sleep, regeneration and communication. Blue decreases blood pressure and heart rate, dissolves nervousness and stress and has a very calming effect on the entire organism. It is very effective in the treatment of headaches and sleep disorders. Blue is also a highly effective colour for meditation, communication, spiritual growth and high mental qualities. Blue will help bring about the expression of one's creative power while bringing the individual to a state of peace and holistic balance.

Do we need Alkaline water?
If you do drink alkaline water, its alkalinity is quickly removed by the highly acidic gastric fluid in the stomach. Uptake of water occurs mainly in the intestine, not in the stomach. But when stomach contents enter the intestine, they are neutralized and made alkaline by the pancreatic secretions - so ALL THE WATER YOU DRINK EVENTUALLY BECOMES ALKALINE ANYWAY!!
Is Fluoride necessary in water?
Definitely not. Check out this link and you decide!!!
What is Reverse Osmosis?
Reverse Osmosis (RO) is often described as filtration, but it is much more complex than that. People sometimes explain it as a filter because it is much easier to visualize using those terms. We should remember that osmosis is how we feed each cell in our bodies: As our blood is carried into the smallest of capillaries in our bodies, nutrients actually pass through the cell wall to sustain it's life. Reverse osmosis is just the opposite: We take water with "nutrients" (in this case, junk) in it, and apply pressure to it against a certain type of membrane, and, presto -- out comes "clean" water.
For example: If you take a jar of water and place a semi-permeable membrane (like a cell wall? or a piece of skin?) in it, dividing the jar into two sections, then place water in both sides to an equal level, nothing happens. But, if you place salt (or other such substance) into one side of the jar, you will notice that, after awhile, the water level in the salty side begins to rise higher as the unsalted side lowers. This is osmotic pressure at work: The two solutions will continue to try to reach the same level of salt in each side by the unsalted water passing through the membrane to dilute the salty water. This will continue until the "head" pressure of the salt water overcomes the "osmotic" pressure created by the differences in the two solutions.
On the other hand, researchers have discovered that if we take that membrane and feed water with sufficient pressure to overcome the osmotic pressure of the two waters, we can 'manufacture' clean water on the side of the membrane that has no pressure.
Reverse osmosis is an advanced leading-edge technique which separates the very smallest particles, molecules and ions. Reverse osmosis supplements conventional techniques, it takes up where the conventional methods leave off. The result is excellent pure water – drinking water.
Together with carbon block and UV sterilization, Reverse Osmosis is the only system that will remove everything including 99% of FLUORIDE.
Is Water Really Vital To The Body?
How often have you chosen the highly sweetened and flavoured softdrinks, cordials and milks which contain copius amounts of sugars and salts in preference to pure, natural refreshing water?
Did you know these dreaded drinks can be responsible for aiding fluid retention, not to mention how high they are in kilojoiles or calories. There are numerous reasons why we should all increase our water intake:
1. It aids digestion when drunk one hour before or after food.
2. It helps control constipation and increases urinary volume.
3. It helps flush out waste products through the kidneys which will in turn function more effectively and can aid in weight loss.
4. It helps skin problems in that waste products will be eliminated through the kidneys rather than through the skin.
5. Best of all, water contains absolutely no kilojoules or calories and it's great when flavoured overnight with fresh lemon, strawberries or rockmelon.
Drinking a glass of water every hour will eliminate more health problems than we realise!!! SO YES.. Water IS VITAL!!
What is "Ionized Water"?
In short terms, If the water is drinkable, it cannot be ionized to any effect because only 2 out of every billion molecules have conductivity. Click here for more information.
Scientifically, electrolysis cannot change the pH of ion free water (clean water).
If you want to help alkaline your body squeeze some lemon in a glass of clean water. Also, a good vegetable diet including fruits like pineapple and melons to mention but a few help to alkaline. Don't forget regular exercise which make you "puff" is great to get rid of excess acid in your body by way of exhaling carbon dioxide.
Note that uptake of water occurs mainly in the intestine, not in the stomach, but when the contents of the stomach enter the intestine they are neutralized and made alkaline by the pancreatic secretions. So all the water you drink will become alkaline anyway..
So remember, All you need is a good intake of good clean water to help flush and hydrate your body.
What About The Minerals ?
A lot of people prefer the water absolutely pure to flush their system. However, water does flush some minerals (which cells have already expelled) from the body along with the waste so if you do wish to add minerals Celtic Sea Salts would be one of the better products to use. Sea Salt contains approx 85 different minerals and is a great aid in hydration especially after exercise.
Are polycarbonate bottles safe to use for drinking water?
Yes, under normal conditions. Do not fill with boiling water. Clean only with luke warm or cold water. Here is a short summary from the Aquatek site for your information.
For decades, polycarbonate plastic has been safely used to make baby bottles, reusable water bottles, and sippy cups. The safety of these products has been supported by numerous science-based safety evaluations of bisphenol A that have been conducted by independent government and scientific bodies worldwide. For example, recent evaluations by the European Food Safety Authority and NSF International both provide strong support fo the safety of polycarbonate bottles. In spite of this strong scientific support, numerous myths, misinformation and scare stories about polycarbonate bottles continue to circulate. Several new studies have carefully examined these myths and provide additional strong support for the safe use of polycarbonate bottles.
A complete review of the scientific data, as has been conducted by government and scientific bodies worldwide, reveals that polycarbonate bottles are safe for use and that migration levels of bisphenol A from polycarbonate plastic under real-life conditions are well within science-based safety limits.
What is the best way to clean my Bottle?
Many people are happy to use household bleach to do this. Fill the bottle 1/4 full with cold water (do not use hot water in the Polycarbonate bottles) and add a cup of bleach. Swirl it around and if it is the top of the bottle which has that green tinge, put the cap on (or a couple of layers of clingwrap) and turn the bottle upside down so that the solution covers the area which needs cleaning and leave it sitting a couple of hours if possible.
People who are not happy using bleach use white vinegar or even rice has been known to help clean the bottles.
Make sure you rinse the bottle thoroughly before using again.
You can also use the baby bottle sanitizing products from the local Supermarket. (follow its instructions)
